How to start a vote in Amx Mod X for Counter-Strike 1.6

Starting a vote in Counter-Strike is very easy on a server using Amx Mod X. But there are certain things you need to keep in mind or else your vote will be displayed in the wrong manner.

• First of all you need to go to your console(make sure that Amx Mod X is installed on your server).
• Then type in “amx_vote” without quotes and press enter. Yo will see the following info;

amx_vote

So now you need to type in a question and the possible two answers you want the users to choose from.

This is how you type the correct voting command; for instance;

amx_vote “Razer is a hacker?” “yes” “no”

Now the three set of quotes indicate the question, the first possible answer and the second possible answer respectively.

Common mistakes made by admin while typing the vote command:

You need not put the angular brackets as shown in the example given to you in the console by typing amx_vote. Many of you think that its the way to write but this is what you get by doing it that way,
You get this by typing the wrong vote command i.e.
amx_vote

Bye typing the correct vote command you get the following correct output;

This is the correct output of vote which you get by typing
amx_vote “Razer is a hacker?” “yes” “no”
