Battleye flagging hardware and overlays

So there has been a lot of talk about BattlEye banning for overlays. By now the consensus is that BattlEye does not directly ban for having an overlay, no matter the flags or anything.

Another hot topic is whether BattleEye used some for of hardware banning. Many people believe that receiving BattleEye bans puts a sort of infraction on your record which increases the chance of being banned for smaller and smaller offenses in the future.

So, when you combine the two, you have people believing that they have enough infractions that BattlEye is banning them based off their overlay even though the cheat/bypass may be undetected.

I’d like to hear peoples opinions, experiences, and findings on these topics:
Have you noticed greater detection rates after receiving multiple bans?
Have you ever gotten banned for using a private cheat with a private bypass that you believe to be undetected?
Do you know of any ways to remove these infractions, if they do exist, be it spoofing hardware information, creating a new user, or even replacing the motherboard?

And my personal question: I’ve never been banned using my bypass without an overlay. As in my cheat just ran, collecting information from memory, but never doing anything with it. I do however have 10+ bans on different BE games. The only constant in my cheats is the overlay, is that small portion enough to sig a cheat?

Feel free to discuss these topics and answer however many or however few of these questions you’d like.
