DbD: Config to increase the brightness of the killer’s red spot, turn off the fog + “WH”
You need to find the file “Engine.ini”, it is on this path
Save the changes, go to the properties of the file and apply the attribute “read only“. “r.EmitterSpawnRateScale = 0” – disables the fog in the game and the smoke from the fire, the result you can already see by going to the game menu. The advantage is obvious. (It can also give a gain of 1-3 fps, if you play on a weak computer, then for you it can be important). “r.LightFunctionQuality = 0” – will make the killer’s spot brighter, this will give you the advantage of running from the killer in jungle jims, you can react faster when the killer walks around the corner, the spot is best seen when the killer is behind the wall and looks into your side, also a killer is simply easier to notice if he is away and is moving towards you. (If you have a weak computer, the red spot can have a slightly negative effect on performance). And one more parameter with a questionable benefit, but which you might find useful -“r.ViewDistanceScale = 1“. If you find it useful for yourself, then add it below right after those lines that I wrote earlier. You can adjust the visibility of objects on the map, 1-this is a normal value, enter an effective value for yourself, for example, from 0.1 to 0.3, the smaller it is, the fewer objects you will see in front of you. The option is also possible – 0.01 to 0.09, but then you risk repeatedly bumping your forehead into the wall, not seeing it in advance. Note that the game may look rather disgusting and not atmospheric at the same time. The whole feature is that the survivors do not disappear, like objects in front of you and you can see them at a fairly distant distance. This is a kind of wallhack, for any kind of comfortable game I recommend to use only a nurse, in most cases it does not care what objects on the map can be seen, you just fly up and give blows to the survivor. EAC does not react to changes in the config. The only option is to catch you, that you will play publicly on your stream or record your game on video and show it to someone. P.S. Sorry, if I made a mistake somewhere, English is not my native language. |
