Unpacked file DEad By Daylight

Unpack the file but I get this error message:
“we detected some unknown files in your.dead by daylight / content folder should there be only .pak file. if you have some other files please delete it.”

I already use the EAC Bypass but I still get the error message.

I can not open the Dead By Daylight.

Maybe there is something that I need to do, I will make it very hard for anyone who can help me with that. Thank you

My theory:

The save files never went online. I just had a look and it seems that the files can only be read by the game when locked. So, naturally if you unlocked it, edited it, and then locked it up again, then your edits wouldn’t be reverted. They’re clever, but they’re literally using a bandaid fix to fix their problem. If they truly put the save files online, why didnt most of our save files revert to an unedited version? Like why do i still have 1000 ebony mories on my hill bill?

I’m not knowledgeable when it comes to scripting and/or coding. Someone a little more advanced needs to have a look at this and keep their methods off this website since the devs just walk in here and patch every fucking thing we do up.

The save files are online. There is no other file except ProfileSaves\*.profjce that contains the savedata when not in the game, it doesn’t have a second backup file anywhere on the computer.
Every time you open the game, you can see about ~150kB/s download speed increase which lasts for less than a second.
Every time you finish a bloodweb, you can see a few kB/s upload speed to the same IP address as when you start the game.
Every time you close the game, you can also see a few kB/s upload speed to the same IP. Every time you see the .profjce file is edited by the game, there is some network activity going on which stops again after a second.

The reason you kept your 1000 ebony’s is because you edited them in before the cloud saving affected you.
